Wiki Requirements

Page history last edited by Mrs C 1 yr ago

These are the requirements of each party for their wiki pages:

Home Heading/party page with links to each of the party’s following pages:

Page 1: “Read what we stand for”. Here, each party explains what they see as important at our school or in our world. Concentrate on feelings, thoughts and attitudes rather than just physical places or items. They will explain what makes a good leader and why they deserve your vote.

Page 2: “Check our promises” Promises each party has made, should they be elected. The group should explain why they chose this issue to campaign on, and how it will benefit the students, school and/or community if they are elected.

Page 3: “See our print ad”. The party's advertisement suitable for publication in a newspaper is here. This advertisement will explain the main duties of the three levels of government in Australia.

Page 4: “Hear our podcast”. Hear the party speaking about what a democracy is and what it means to them.

Page 5: “Watch our video”. The television advertisement which will explain to voters how an election works in Australia. Expect 30-60 seconds of enthralling vision!

Page 6: “Ask us questions” Read responses to voters’ questions and post your own question. (It will be a requirement that each group read the others’ sites and respond by formulating at least one insightful question. The questions will be answered at the press conference, and the answers published on the wiki.)

Page 7: Each group will also explain what else they know about the Australian system of government (for example how a law is changed), to show voters that they understand their responsibilities
